#23 Lions Claim Cougar Challenge Championship, Move to 12-0

The #23 LMU volleyball team (12-0) defeated host Washington State (9-3) in four sets on Friday night to capture the 2014 Washington State Cougar Challenge Tournament Championship. The Lions defeated the Cougars by scores of 21-25, 25-20, 28-26, 25-21 to stay unbeaten on the year and stretch its program-record start to the season to 12-0.

Lions Host Weber State, Travel to #1 UCLA

LMU women's soccer will seek its third straight win, along with remaining unbeaten at Sullivan Field when they host Weber State Friday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. The weekend concludes in Westwood on Sunday as the Lions take on defending College Cup Champions and current No. 1 ranked UCLA at 6 p.m.

'B' Squad Competes at Mustang Challenge

Seven women and seven men will be competing for the LMU cross country teams at the Mustang Challenge, hosted by The Master's College Sunday morning in Santa Clarita, Calif. The women's 5k gets underway at 8:00 a.m. while the men's 8k follows at 8:45 a.m. from Central Park.

Lions Drop Heartbreaker to No. 6 UCI

Battling back from a 1-0 deficit to take a 2-1 advantage, the Lions would surrender a UCI goal with just 18 seconds remaining in regulation and a penalty kick at the 104:20 mark, dropping a 3-2 final decision to UCI on Sullivan Field.
