FAQ's - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I register?
Click the "Register for Camp" button in the upper right hand corner of our website to complete our secure online registration.
How do I pay?
Secure online payments are available via Credit Card or E-Check (an E-Check allows you to register online using your checking account by simply typing in your Account Number and Routing Number from the bottom of your check).
What is your policy on cancellations and refunds?
We encourage you to plan your camp selections carefully. There is a $150.00 cancellation fee per camp session for any and all reasons, including medical, if you decide to cancel any camp session from this point on up until the two (2) weeks prior to the start of camp. Furthermore, if you cancel within two (2) weeks of the start of camp, there will be no refund. PHONE CANCELLATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. A written copy of the cancellation is required. No refunds will be issued upon expulsion or voluntary withdrawal from camp. There is no refund for variable weather conditions.
What if I want to make changes to my registration?
All changes must be made in writing. You may email Elaine Ferritto Calip at email@example.com to request a change to our registration. Please note that a $50 fee will be assessed to any change made to a registration form once it has been processed.
Do you offer extended care services?
Yes, we offer extended care for an additional fee. It is available in the mornings from 7:30-9:00 am for all camp programs and in the afternoons from 4:00-6:00 pm for full day camps only (There is no afternoon extended care for ½ day morning camps.). Morning attendees will be dropped off in Summer Camp Multi-Purpose room located in Gersten Pavilion and will be escorted by extended care staff to their camp program by 9:00 am each morning. After care attendees will be escorted by camp staff to the Summer Camp Multi-Purpose room located in Gersten Pavilion at the end of each camp day. More information on extended care can be found here.
Do you offer any discounts?
Discounts will only be applied at the time of initial enrollment. It will be automatically included during online registration. Only one discount will be acceptable per child, per camp session (EXCLUDING EXTENDED CARE). Camp fees are based on a 5-day schedule, therefore we are unable to pro-rate.
To be eligible for a camp discount you must:
Sign up by May 1, 2015 to receive a $25.00 discount.
What is the last day I can register for camp?
We will continue to take registrations until camp is full. Registrations received within 72 hours of the 1st day of camp, (after Thursday @ 5 pm), will be charged an additional $50 per child, per session.
How do I know if I'm confirmed for camp?
Upon completing registration you'll receive a confirmation email with important camp information and a receipt of your purchase.
I signed up for camp, now what?
First of all, on behalf of the LMU Athletics Summer Camp Staff, we would like to say Thank You for signing up with us. Please refer to the camper information document, which you received via email upon completion of your registration. Check in for aquatics camps will begin between 8:30-9:00 am by Gersten Pavilion. Parking is provided in Hannon Lot directly across from the athletics complex but you must enter the LMU campus via Lincoln Blvd. Please note for soccer camps, parking will be in the underground Drollinger parking structure. Cars parked in the red zone will be ticketed and/or towed away. You must walk your child all the way to the designated camp check-in area and sign your child in and out each day. Detailed information about that location will be sent to you once you have registered for camp. See you then!
What should my kid bring/wear to camp?
Swim Suit and Towel
Sun block (Please be sure to apply before you arrive at camp each day and reapply as necessary.)
Clothes to change into
Bag for equipment

What happens if my child gets hurt?
There will be an athletic trainer on site that will handle any and all medical needs for the campers. Please be sure to be as detailed as possible when filling out your child's medical forms so that we may be prepared to manage your child's needs.
