Welcome to LMU Athletics. In our commitment to "Building Champions," this portion of our website was developed and is dedicated to assisting various groups of people with their understanding of LMU, West Coast Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. This portion of our website was also developed to demonstrate the University's commitment to institutional control.

The following pages of information are designed to assist our fans, boosters, former and current student-athletes, prospective LMU student-athletes, coaches, and staff members. There are many sources of information and links to various sites on this webpage. It is our hope that you will find this information useful.

Athletics Mission

Feel the Roar
Our mission is to provide an environment for student-athlete development that supports the pursuit of the highest level of success athletically, academically, and culturally for the growth of the whole person in the tradition of the Jesuit and Marymount ideals. The purpose of the Intercollegiate Athletics Program at LMU is to support the overall mission, goals and objectives of the University by complimenting the pursuit of academic excellence, cultural diversity, and gender equity with championship sports programs.

Statement of Compliance
Loyola Marymount University is committed to fielding and supporting a successful NCAA Division I athletics program. Through this support it expects and demands that all individuals who have any level of involvement with the athletics program conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the traditions of the Jesuit and Marymount educational philosophy, and that they act in accordance with the rules, policies, and guidelines set forth by the institution, the conferences in which its athletics teams compete, and the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA). The University also expects all individuals involved with the athletics program to obey the law and respect the rights of others.
