LOS ANGELES - It is Homecoming Week on the campus of Loyola Marymount, and key West Coast Conference match-ups in both men's and women's basketball will highlight a full week of Crimson and Navy. The week-long celebration of why LMU is #LIONSTRONG culminates with the annual Homecoming Game, which will feature a PCH Cup rivalry showdown between LMU and Pepperdine on Saturday, Feb. 18.

Here are the highlights to this year's homecoming:

Feb. 16, 2017: LMU women's basketball vs. Saint Mary's - 12 pm
This special WCC match-up will be held at 12 noon from Gersten Pavilion and will be the second annual Field Trip Day. Local elementary school kids, including LMU Family of School Partners, will spend the afternoon with the Lions as they take on the Gaels. In addition, it will be Homecoming's Faculty Appreciate Day. Come out and join the kids and Lions with a free lunch.

Feb. 16, 2017: Bowlero Watch Party - 7 pm
Lion fans can come together and watch men's basketball take on No. 20 Saint Mary's in Moraga during the Bowlero Watch Party from Bowlero Los Angeles off Lincoln Blvd. Join fellow Lion fans from all over in a special section just for LMU. The evening will feature drink and food specials and $11 all night bowling when you mention "LMU." Iggy and the LMU cheer team will be on hand giving away official LMU gear and giveaways.

Feb. 17, 2017: LMU Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies - 7 pm
The Hall of Fame banquet will take place from 7 pm to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, February 17 in Roski Hall within University Hall. The 2017 Induction Class includes athletes from the track and the pitch, those who played above the net and scored buckets, as well as a pair of benefactors who helped shape LMU athletics into what it is today. This year's class includes Chad and Ginni Dreier (Benefactor), Tara Erdmann (Cross Country/Track), Michael Erush (Men's Soccer), Heather Hughes (Volleyball), Terrell Lowery (Baseball/Men's Basketball), and Adrianne Slaughter (Women's Basketball).

Feb. 18, 2017: LMU men's basketball vs. Pepperdine - Tailgate: 1 pm; Tip-off: 3 pm
The 2017 Homecoming Game will be on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 3 pm. The PCH Cup Rivalry showdown went to double overtime last year and this year's first meeting was decided at the buzzer. Start the day right with the annual Homecoming Tailgate Party, which begins at 1 pm.

This year's theme for homecoming is Crush the Waves. Part of Homecoming Week will include:
• A No Orange mandate, as Lions are asked to wear Crimson and Navy all week and avoid Orange at all costs.
• Throughout the week, post images and testimonials on why you are #LIONSTRONG and tag #LMUHomecoming2017. The best posts throughout the week will win great prizes, including official LMU BASKETBALL JERSEY and much more. • RHA will host a door decorating contest throughout the dorms. Three finalists will be chosen and photos posted on LMU RHA's instagram. The post with the most likes will be the winner.
• A Spirit Trade-in: trade in another school's shirt and get an LMU shirt. Bring shirts to the LMU Ticket Office during homecoming week to get rid of that other school.
• Spot Iggy: If you see Iggy, a cheerleader or dancer on campus all week (they will be wearing the BLACK LMU #6 JERSEY), post a picture with them on Instagram and tag #LMUHomecoming2017 to receive the 2017 homecoming t-shirt early.
• The second annual office decorating contest will once again take place on on Friday, February 17.
