Lions Announce Fan Advisory Council
LMU Athletics has announced the creation of a fan advisory council.
LMU Athletics Director Dr. William Husak announced on Monday the creation of a Fan Advisory Council, which will consist of 10-12 individuals serving a two-year term. The council will consist of fans representing different demographics and gameday perspectives, and will provide feedback and insights on gameday experience topics for all LMU Athletics events and other selected topics.
"From the very first time that someone comes in contact with an LMU Lions event, we want the experience to be fun and enjoyable," Husak said. "Receiving input from our fans through the Fan Council is one way of creating that atmosphere that will draw people back over and over again. Our goal is to continue to create experiences that will result in deeper and meaningful connections to our athletes, teams, Department and University."
The LMU Athletics Fan Advisory Council will meet quarterly. With that in mind, applicants in and around the Los Angeles area are preferred for ease of meeting and discussion. Applications for the council are open now until Friday, September 8, with the first council meeting slated for the week of September 11.
