Los Angeles, CA (Sept. 1) - In the latest enhancement of the Loyola Marymount University Athletics website, www.LMULions.com, men and women's soccer and women's volleyball will join baseball and men and women's basketball to the list of sports available in Gametracker for the 2004-05 season. More than 100 LMU sporting events will be offered live on the Internet through the real-time play-by-play and statistics software. Gametracker gives you up-to-the-second coverage on the game of your choice. To access Gametracker logon to the LMU website at http://www.LMULions.com, go to the Live Coverage section, locate the event you want to follow and click on the Gametracker link associated with that contest. The new Gametracker feature for men and women's soccer and volleyball starts this coming weekend with the LMU Four Points Sheraton Volleyball Classic and the women's soccer matches against Rutgers and Hawaii. Also kicking off this weekend is this season's game coverage on the Lions' Audio Network. More than 140 events are scheduled to air live on the network, which includes Internet broadcasts on LMULions.com through Yahoo!Sports, radio broadcasts on KXLU 88.9 FM and on campus AM broadcasts on KLMU. The coverage begins on Friday with the women's volleyball match against Duke at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Saturday night game featuring LMU and Tennessee at 7:30 p.m. Then on Sunday, follow the women's soccer team live as they take on Hawaii at 1:00 p.m. Returning for the second season will be the LMU Coaches' Show, airing on the first Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. The show gives listeners on LMULions.com and KXLU 88.9 FM a complete break down of LMU athletics with coach and player interviews. The first show will be Monday, Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. For the complete schedule of games on the Lions Audio Network (LAN), visit the LAN section on the LMU website. - GO LIONS -
