LOS ANGELES -- With views from the bluff reaching far beyond the Pacific Ocean and the sky a typical Southern California-day blue, the 60th annual Alumni BBQ on Sunday was nearly picture perfect, and LMU Athletics took advantage of the full day.
From LMU Rowing's Fall Fiasco to a doubleheader at Sullivan and highlighted by the Alumni BBQ itself, it was a busy day at LMU. And the LMU Sports Network was there all day to catch the action of the day as more than 2,000 alums, families and friends gathered in Sunken Garden for yet another packed Alumni BBQ. LMU student-athletes were in full force throughout the day and the entire weekend full of activities.

Sullivan Field was the place to be all weekend as women's soccer hosted their first night game under the recently installed lights and it was bursting at the seams thanks to a packed doubleheader on Sunday that saw over 1,500 fans through the gates.
Sales were brisk at the annual Athletics' Spirit Sale, while the weekend produced a pair of WCC Athlete of the Week performers in volleyball's Kathleen Luft and men's soccer's Juan De Rada. Women's volleyball jumped out to a 2-0 record in conference play with a pair of weekend on the extended weekend, while men's soccer sits at 4-1-1 thanks to De Rada's three goals over the weekend.
