Second Annual Day at Races Set for October 18
The Day at the Races recognizes and celebrates LMU female student-athletes and their programs.
Join LMU coaches, student-athletes, alumni, parents and fans for the Second Annual Women in Athletics - Day at the Races. This fundraising event, which will be held on Sunday, October 18 at Santa Anita Racetrack, recognizes and celebrates LMU's female student-athletes and their programs. All proceeds will benefit the women student-athlete scholarship fund.
Check-in for the event is scheduled for 11 a.m., with lunch to follow at Noon. Races, paddock tours and guest speakers will begin at 1 p.m.

This special day includes a delicious lunch that will be prepared by celebrity chef Bev Lazo, a contestant on Fox's hit series "Hell's Kitchen" season 12 who used her time there to learn and train under Chef Gordon Ramsay. Chef Lazo has also been featured on the Food Network, and is currently working as a private chef and catering chef for Food Network's stars Chef Susan Fenigar and Mary Sue Milliken for their "Border Grill" restaurant and trucks.
Individual Ticket Fee: $99 ($70 is a tax-deductible gift)
Recent Alumni Fee (Classes of 2006 - 2015): $50 ($25 is a tax-deductible gift)
Young Adult (12-20 years): $15
Youth (11-under): FREE
Ticket price includes parking, entrance, private tours of the paddock, lunch buffet, wine and beer, a meet-and-greet with a jockey, and racing program.
