What sports offer live stats?
Live stats from the LMU Athletic Department are provided for the following sports when played in Los Angeles: baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's soccer, women's soccer, softball, and volleyball. For away games, the home team normally provides live stats on their official athletics website.
How do I view live stats?
If the sport is listed above and the Lions are playing in Los Angeles, go to the sport's schedule page or the events calendar on LMULions.com. Click the game in the schedule. Next to the schedule, a box with that specific game's details will appear. Click the GameTracker link to launch the live stats window.
What programs do I need to view live stats?
Please download the latest free version of Adobe Flash Player. The latest player will enable you to view the flash content in the live statistics window. A broadband connection to the internet will provide the best experience. The content will also pop up in a new window so please disable your popup blocker to allow the window to appear.
Live stats from this site are not matching radio, TV...
For most games, GameTracker receives its information from the offical scorekeeping computer in the pressbox. Some games are fed by a data feed provided by the SportsTicker wire service. From time to time due to human error, there may be incorrect game data entered into the scoring software. Any such errors will be corrected in GameTracker as soon as they are corrected in the software. While the feed may be coming from the official scorekeeping computer, stats are not considered official until reviewed and submitted under standard reporting procedures independent of the Gametracker product.
The live stats haven't updated in a long time...
The Gametracker application will automatically display any new data received without the need for refreshing. Refreshing the application will not update the stats any faster. At times there may be a delay before GameTracker updates, due to unforseen circumstances in the press box (such as a computer malfunction, or a few extra seconds to clarify a player name or call on the field). Games are monitored and any data interruptions rectified as quickly as possible, but there may be cases where a data feed cannot be restored.
