Following is a list of Loyola Marymount's recent signees who will join LMU in the 2010-11 academic year. All release links will be added to this list as we receive signed letters of approval from each future Lion.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
East Coast Point Guard Signs with LMU
Anthony Ireland, a 5-10 guard from Winchendon School in Winchendon, Mass., has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Loyola Marymount University and play men's basketball for the Lions, Head Coach Max Good announced on Friday.
Lions Sign Ayodeji Egbeyemi
LMU men's basketball Head Coach Max Good announced Wednesday, April 14, that Ayodeji Egbeyemi, a standout from National Christian Academy in Fort Washington, Mary., has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend LMU and play basketball for the Lions starting in the fall of 2010.
Lions Complete Roster With Another Prep Star
Godwin Okonji, from Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nev., became the third player to sign a National Letter of Intent to attend and play basketball for LMU, announced Head Coach Max Good. Okonji joins Anthony Ireland and Ayodeji Egbeyemi as the Lions freshman class heading into 2010-11 season.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Lions Sign Local Trio
LMU women's basketball has signed three players for the 2010-11 season, Head Coach Julie Wilhoit announced Friday. Local products Melinda Gomez, Alexis Love, and Hazel Ramirez have all signed National Letters of Intent and will join the Lions next fall. All three recruits are ranked nationally by Hoopgurlz.com.
Lions Welcome Three More for 2010-11
Size and leadership are the focal points of the final three pieces of LMU women's basketball's 2010 signing class, as Head Coach Julie Wilhoit announced Thursday the addition Hillary Drinovsky, Mackenzie Kerins, and Christina "Dani" LeNoir to the LMU program. Drinovsky and Kerins bring size to LMU's front-line while Washington State transfer LeNoir will jump in to the point guard spot. The trio links up with LMU's early signees, Hazel Ramirez, Alexis Love, and Melinda Gomez, who continue to garner high school awards after committing to the Lions back in November. ning in the fall.

LMU Inks Strong Recruiting Class
LMU baseball signed seven standout athletes during November's early signing period, second-year Head Coach Jason Gill announced earlier this week. Bret Dahlson(RHP/1B - JSerra Catholic HS), Gabriel Encinas (RHP - St. Paul HS), Alonzo Gonzalez (LHP - Santa Monica HS), Jacob Medina (INF/OF - Mater Dei HS), Michael Rowland (OF/INF - Ayala HS), Jacob Smigelski (RHP/OF - Glendora HS) and Arman Valenzuela (C - Northview HS) have each signed National Letters of Intent to join the Lions in the fall of 2010.

Two More to Join LMU in 2010
Two more players will be joining the Loyola Marymount University men's soccer team in 2010, bringing the Lions' recruiting class to nine, Head Coach Paul Krumpe announced Monday. Connor Gill and Connor Hunsicker accompany the six high school seniors - Christian Alvarado, Eric Brunter, Trent Clifton, Aaron Garfinkel, Craig Nitti, and Cameron Krumpe - that Krumpe signed to National Letters of Intent in February, along with transfer Mitch Boland, who enrolled at LMU in January after transferring from Gonzaga University.
WOMEN'S SOCCER
LMU Bringing in Six for 2010
Six players have committed to joining the LMU women's soccer team, Head Coach Joe Mallia announced Thursday during the 2010 recruiting period. The incoming freshman class will feature three defenders, two midfielders, and a forward in an effort to off-set the Lions' losses due to graduation.
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Volleyball Signs Arizona Standout to Letter of Intent
First-year volleyball head coach Tom Black announced the signing of Betsi Metter, a standout outside hitter from Phoenix Desert Vista High School, earlier this week. Metter, who led her team to a runner-up finish for the Arizona State Championship in 2008, will join the Lions in the fall for the 2010 season.
LMU Signs San Diego Opposite
Loyola Marymount volleyball and Head Coach Steve Stratos announced the signing of standout volleyball player Alyse Hensley earlier this week. Hensley, a 6'3 left-handed opposite from Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, Calif., signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Lions in the fall for the 2010 season.
ROWING
Rowing Signs Four for 2009
LMU women's rowing will welcome four newcomers to next year's roster as Coordinator of Rowing Dawn Regan announced Tuesday the signing of Alex Silva, Mackenzie Piper, Hanna Osborne, and Maggie Boze to National Letters of Intent. The quartet comprises the first recruiting class for Regan, who is completing her first year in charge of the LMU program.
WOMEN'S WATER POLO
Water Polo Adds Another Talent-Rich Class
After one of the most successful seasons in LMU women's water polo history, Head Coach Kyle Witt has announced the signing of another strong class to National Letters of Intent to continue their education and water polo careers at LMU. Alexandra Honny signed in November and is joined by Kiara Cerda, Sammi Peck, Katie Ricks, and Kassandra Smith, who signed this spring, to form the Lions' class of 2014.
MEN'S GOLF
Men's Golf Adds Five to Roster for 2010-11
The LMU men's golf roster for the 2010-11 season will have a new look to it thanks to five new players joining the program starting this fall. Kyle Berka, Parker Middleton and Tyler Torano will enter as freshman after signing National Letters of Intent will Nick Cahow (Pierce College) and Eduardo Chavez (New Mexico) have transferred to LMU.
