2009-010 LMU Recruits

Following is a list of Loyola Marymount's recent signees who will join LMU in the 2009-10 academic year. All release links will be added to this list as we receive signed letters of approval from each future Lion.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Lions Sign Camille Buckley
LMU women's basketball targeted one player during its recruiting for next season and has received commitment from that player, signing Camille Buckley to a National Letter of Intent during the early signing period, Head Coach Julie Wilhoit announced on November 13.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
Southern California Standouts Join Men's Hoops
Quincy Lawson of Vista High School and Alex Osborne of Pacific Hills High School signed National Letters of Intent to join the LMU Men's Basketball program, head coach Max Good announced on Thursday (April 16). The two southern California standouts give the Lions' an impressive four-man incoming class for the 2009-10 season.

Pair of Standouts Complete Early Signing Period
High school standouts Given Kalipinde (Episcopal High School - Alexandria, Virg.) and Edgar Garibay (Compton High School - Compton, Calif.) have signed National Letters of Intent to attend and play collegiate basketball for Loyola Marymount, LMU announced on Nov. 14.

MEN'S GOLF
Two More Locals Join Men's Golf
The LMU men's golf program has become one of the top programs in the West Coast Conference thanks in large part to talented players right in the Lions' backyard. Head Coach Alex Galvan continues to pluck top talent from southern California, announcing that Bryan Bergna (Riverside Poly HS) and Boris Stantchev (Woodrow Wilson HS) have signed National Letters of Intent to play golf and attend LMU beginning in the fall.

MEN'S SOCCER
Men's Soccer Adds Two More for 2009
The Loyola Marymount University men's soccer team has added two more players to its recruiting class for the fall of 2009, Head Coach Paul Krumpe announced Friday. The addition of Chris Hamano and Sean Sears brings the total number of incoming freshmen to eight, after the Lions signed Chris Bernardi, John Ikard, John LaCouture, David Kucera, James Rochlitz, and Billy Thompson to National Letters of Intent earlier in February.

WOMEN'S SOCCER
Women's Soccer Adds Eight for 2009
Eight players have signed National Letters of Intent and will be joining Loyola Marymount women's soccer in the fall of 2009, Head Coach Joe Mallia announced Wednesday. The class is the largest in Mallia's tenure at LMU and comprises goalkeepers Brittany Jagger, Alaina Martin, and Paige Pennington, midfielders Amanda Owens and Cori McGovern, and defenders Jordan Nelson, Kelsey Wilson, and Claire Yearian.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Lions Sign Two to National Letters of Intent
Loyola Marymount volleyball and Head Coach Steve Stratos announced the signing of two volleyball standouts earlier this week. Olivia Bailey (Hockaday School/Dallas, Texas) and Kenna Crouse (Santa Margarita Catholic High School/Coto de Caza, Calif.) each signed National Letters of Intent to join the Lions in the fall for the 2009 season.

ROWING
Rowing Signs Four for 2009
LMU women's rowing will welcome four newcomers to next year's roster as Coordinator of Rowing Dawn Regan announced Tuesday the signing of Alex Silva, Mackenzie Piper, Hanna Osborne, and Maggie Boze to National Letters of Intent. The quartet comprises the first recruiting class for Regan, who is completing her first year in charge of the LMU program.
