Cheer Takes Fourth at USA Nationals
Lions competed March 29-30 in Anaheim

This past weekend, the Loyola Marymount cheerleading squad competed at the United Spirit Association national competition at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The competition took place over a two-day period, with preliminaries on Saturday, March 29 and the finals on Sunday, March 30.
The Lions were placed in the Co-Ed Small Schools category alongside eight teams from around the country. After day one of competition, the Lion cheerleaders were among the top scorers in their division and moved on to finals the next day.
Competing against top teams such as Long Beach State, Northern Kentucky and Boise State, the LMU cheer squad performed an outstanding routine for the judges and took home the 4th place trophy.
