WCC Honors 112 LMU Student-Athletes on Commissioner's Honor Roll

The nine WCC schools put a total of 1,093 student-athletes on the list from the 13 sports that the conference sponsors, which is another new conference record.


Women's Rowing Signs Trio For Class of 2016

Ashley Brown, Kathryn Courson and Monica Weaser have all signed NLIs and will join the LMU women's rowing program in the fall of 2012


Women's Rowing Takes Third at WCC Championship

The Lions collected 26 points with a third place finish in the second varsity eight and fourth place finishes in the varsity four and varsity eight to finish third overall at the 2012 WCC Rowing Championship Saturday on Lake Natoma.


Rowing Trio Earns WCC All-Academic Honors

Kat Regan, Shannon Craig and Chris Erhart were all honored Thursday, earning selection to the 2012 WCC Women's Rowing All-Academic Team.

At LMU...

member of Novice 4 that won gold at WIRA... rowed with varsity 8 at WIRA that finished first in Petite Final... won Parker Cup and Long Beach Spring Regatta with varsity 8...

High School... A 2008 graduate of Saratoga High School in Saratoga, NY... rowed for all four years under coaches Chris Chase and Eric Catalano... won four state championships... captain of her team her sophomore year... all-state her junior year... part of the 2007 National Championship selection camp... won gold at 2007 Scholastic Nationals in the Junior 8+... was bronze medalist at the 2008 Scholastic Nationals in the Senior 8+...

Personal... Shannon Elyse Craig was born April 12, 1990 in Mineola, NY... daughter of Bernadette and Kevin Craig... father played football and baseball at West Point...has an older sister, Heather, who is an assistant trainer for Graham Motion which trained Animal Kingdom, the 2011 Kentucky Derby winner... chose LMU because of the location and academic and rowing programs... is a environmental science major... coached for the Learn to Row program for the Saratoga Rowing Association during the summer of 2011...
