Briefly... Co-Captain Beth Henderson enters her fourth and final season at LMU... At LMU... 2003... rowed in every event for the Lions' Varsity 8 team... started the season at the three seat and moved to the five seat in the middle of the season for a strong second place finish in the San Diego Crew Classic Cal Cup race (4/6/03)... was on Varsity 8 team that claimed WIRA Championship (5/4/03) ... also part of team that earned a first place at the Parker Cup (3/9/03), a dual win over Santa Clara (3/15/03) and a dual win over SMU (4/26/03)... rowed in all but two events in the spring... 2002... raced in 11 of the 12 events, all on the varsity teams... rowed with Varsity 4 who finished fourth in Petite Final at the WIRA Championship (5/4/02)... was on Varsity 8 team that took first place in the Petite Finals of the Pac-10 Championships (5/19/02)... 2001... a member of winning Varsity 8 team against Marina rivals UCLA... earned valuable varsity experience as a true freshman... High School... she is a 2000 graduate of Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma, WA... earned varsity letters in crew in her final two years...captained senior squad... rowed with Commencement Bay... Personal... Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Henderson was born on Oct. 19, 1981 in Tacoma, WA...the daughter of Connie and Paul Henderson...has one brother, Scott, who rows for LMU ...a biology major with aspirations on becoming a teacher.
