Varsity 8 Earns WCC's First Ever Crew of the Month Award

LMU's Varsity 8 crew earned the inaugural WCC Crew of the Month honor for the month of March.

At LMU...
Member of the Varsity 8+ in 2012... helped the Lions to a fourth-place finish in the V8+ at the 2012 WCC Championships... sixth-place in the V8+ Grand Final at the 2012 Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championships... first-place in the V8+ at the 2012 Berg Cup... LMU's V8+ went 6-1 in head-to-head competition in the spring of 2012..

High School...
Three-year letterwinner in rowing at Louisville HS in Woodland Hills, Calif.... two-time Southwest champion in lightweight doubles... finished third in the nation in 2007 in the lightweight doubles... was seventh nationally in the varsity quad in 2009... rowed in the stroke seat of the lightweight doubles, the 2-seat of the varsity quad, and the 7-seat of the varsity 8... team's Most Improved Varsity Rower for three years... also ran one season of track... two-time winner of Principal's Honors... member of National Honor Society...
