At LMU...
Competed in both the Varsity 8+ and the Second Varsity 8+ in the spring of 2012... helped the Lions to a fourth-place finish in the V8+ at the 2012 WCC Championships... sixth-place in the V8+ Grand Final at the 2012 Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championships... first-place in the V8+ at the 2012 Berg Cup... member of the silver medalist lightweight4+ at the 2010 WIRA Championships...

Spent most of the year as a member of the Second Varsity 8... also rowed with the varsity 4... member of lightweight 4 that won Long Beach Spring Regatta... competed with Second Varsity 8 at WCC and WIRA Championships...

High School...
A 2008 graduate of Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, Ariz.... competed on the rowing team... rowed all four years under coach Daniel G. Duxbury... received first-place honors in the lightweight 2x at the 2008 Junior Southwest Regional Championships... received first-place honors in the Lightweight 2x at the Youth Nationals in 2008, pairing with former LMU teammate Chris Erhart...

Sydney Catherine Sutton-Liswith was born October 6, 1989 in Phoenix, Ariz.... daughter of Jill Sutton and Mitchell Liswith... has a younger sister, Lane... chose LMU because of its psychology program, the rowing program and the coaches seemed fun and competitive... earned her undergraduate degree in psychology in 2012... currently working on her masters in elementary education... hopes to become a school psychologist...
