Briefly... JP Voisinet enters his third season with the LMU crew team... At LMU... 2003... rowed six events for the Varsity 8 team, rowing mainly at the bow seat... was on team that defeated Saint Mary's (3/16/03) at WCC Challenge... 2002... first collegiate race was in the Novice 8 at the Parker Cup (3/9/02), after joining the team in January... raced in the Novice 4 against Long Beach State and Saint Mary's (3/10/02), helping team to second place finish... rowed on Novice 8 team that defeated Sacramento State (3/24/02)... rowed in Novice 8 at the San Diego Crew Classic (4/6/02)... High School... graduated from Mater Dei High School (Santa Ana, CA) in 2001 with a 3.8 GPA... played basketball for four years and volleyball for two years, earning four letters... was team captain of the freshman basketball team and of the varsity as a junior... won the Coaches Award as a senior and was voted most improved volleyball player as a junior... John Patrick Voisinet was born in Newport Beach, CA on Nov. 5, 1982... he is the son of Patrice and John Voisinet... his father played basketball at Washburn University from 1968-72... has one sister, Ashley... is a Business major.
