LMU Assistant Snyder to be Featured at Coxswain Clinic

LOS ANGELES - LMU assistant rowing coach Katelin Snyder will be featured at the Temple University Coxswain Clinic, to be held on February 4.

Prior to joining the Lions' rowing staff, Snyder competed with the US National Rowing Team, earning Gold Medals at the 2009 FISA World Rowing Championships and the 2010 FISA Rowing World Cup. Prior to joining the US National Team, she competed for the National U23 team, winning Gold in 2006 and 2008, and a Bronze in 2007.

A two-time Varsity 8 IRA Collegiate National Champion at the University of Washington in 2007 and 2009, she also claimed a Silver Medal at the 2008 Collegiate National Rowing Championships. In her first season with the Varsity 8 squad, Snyder garnered All-Pac-10 Conference honors. A Pac-10 All-Academic selection throughout college, she garnered a pair of Seattle PI Sports Star of the Year awards in 2007 and 2009.
