Complete NorCal/SoCal Challenge Schedule Get Acrobat Reader

LOS ANGELES - Following a three week break from competition the LMU women's rowing team returns to action on Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15 at the NorCal/SoCal Challenge in Redwood City, Calif.

The Lions will be competing in the varsity eight, second varsity eight and varsity four. Each boat will compete in three head-to-head races, all facing Saint Mary's, San Diego State and UC Davis.

Racing begins for LMU Saturday at 9:40 am when the V8+ goes head-to-head with the Gaels. The two schools' 2V8+ boats face off at 10:50 am followed by the V4+ at 11:50 am.

At 3:00 pm the V8+ returns to the water against the Aztecs, a team they beat by 12 seconds on March 10 at Ballona Creek in Marina del Ray. The 2V8+ race between the schools is scheduled for 3:50 pm and the V4+ race is at 4:50 pm.

On Sunday the Lions and Aggies go head-to-head in the V8+ at 9:50 am followed by the 2V8+ at 10:50 am and the V4+ at 11:50 am.
