Racing Information for Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta - Friday-Saturday, May 13-14The LMU men and women will be competing at the Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, Pa. Over 3,000 student-athletes from more than 100 colleges and universities in North America will compete in Friday's heats. On Saturday, May 14, the best of the best will have the opportunity to compete in the finals and be seen in races shown live around the globe. Schedule

Home Event Information LMU's Jane Browne-Bove Boathouse
Directions: From LMU:North on Lincoln into Marina del Rey. Left on Fiji. Follow as below... Accessing Boathouse: As Fiji just begins to bend left, look for the first driveway/entrance to Fisherman's Village. Turn right into this entrance. After going through the parking gate, turn to the right and look for parking. Boathouse is just down off the promenade walkway towards your right. Parking: Depending on the time of day, you may be charged for parking in Fisherman's Village. We can stamp all tickets to validate for 2 hours. Thereafter the charge is 75 cents/half hour. Free parking is available at DOCK 52 Public Lot. Dock 52 is located 1/8 mile from intersection of Admiralty and Fiji, on Fiji, on your right as you proceed into the marina. It is a few minutes walk up Fiji from Dock 52 to the LMU Boathouse.

Event Information Newport Aquatic Center LMU athletes will be arriving at Newport Aquatic Center at 6:00 a.m. to rig boats. All guests are welcome to come, and show support to crews as they shove off, approximately 1 hour before their race. Best viewing of the races will be at the Orange Coast College Boathouse, in Newport Beach. Best idea for spectators is to carpool to OCC boathouse, for parking is limited. Directions: GO LIONS!! |
