Emily Holland is in her third year as a member of the LMU women's rowing team in 2013-14...
2012-13...helped the Varsity 8+ to a victory over WCC-Champion Gonzaga in a head-to-head on March 15 (7:21.84)...helped defend the Berg Cup with a victory in the Varsity 8+ race...guided the Varsity 8+ to a fourth-place finish in the Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic...guided the Varsity 8+ to a fourth-place finish at the WCC Championships, helping LMU to a third-place overall finish in the standings... 2011-12...competed in the Second Varsity 8+ during the spring of 2012... helped the Lions to a third-place finish in the 2V8+ at the 2012 WCC Championships... bronze medal finish in the 2V8+ Grand Final at the 2012 Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championships... first-place in the 2V8+ at the 2012 Berg Cup... LMU's 2V8+ went 5-2 in head-to-head competition in the spring of 2012..
Attended Holy Names Academy... rowed all four years in high school... competed at the Head of the Charles (2009-10) and the San Diego Crew Classic (2008-10)...finished in the top 10 at Junior Nationals in 2010...finished in the top three at Club Nationals in 2011...
Holland is majoring in business at LMU... daughter of Lisa and Frank Holland... father, Frank, rowed for Cornell University... has a younger brother, Alexander... enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing and water sports...
