Rowing Finishes Fifth at WCC Championship

LMU women's rowing placed fifth at the 2014 WCC Championship.


Ten Rowers Named WCC All-Academic

PK Carey-Jones and Monica Weaser were named to the All-Academic team, while eight other Lions earned honorable mention.

2012-13...helped the Varsity 8+ to a victory over WCC-Champion Gonzaga in a head-to-head on March 15 (7:21.84)...helped defend the Berg Cup with a victory in the Varsity 8+ race...guided the Varsity 8+ to a fourth-place finish in the Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic...guided the Varsity 8+ to a fourth-place finish at the WCC Championships, helping LMU to a third-place overall finish in the standings...WCC All-Academic honorable mention selection... 2011-12...competed in the Second Varsity 8+ during the spring of 2012... helped the Lions to a third-place finish in the 2V8+ at the 2012 WCC Championships... bronze medal finish in the 2V8+ Grand Final at the 2012 Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championships... first-place in the 2V8+ at the 2012 Berg Cup... LMU's 2V8+ went 5-2 in head-to-head competition in the spring of 2012..

Attended International Community School in Kirkland, Wash.... was a member of her high school's varsity basketball team... rowed for the Sammamish Rowing association and Head Coach Courtney Moeller... won the Northwest Regionals in 2010 in the V8+ and competed at Youth Nationals...

Paulina Audrey Lindstedt was born Oct. 7, 1992 in Vienna, Austria... also lived in Stockholm, Sweden, for four years... daughter of Julia and Per Lindsteadt... has a twin brother, Philip, who attends the University of Washington... majoring in psychology...
