Rowing Concludes Hornet Invite With Three Sunday Races
Lions continue to compete on the water.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Hornet Invitational came to a close on Sunday morning after a full weekend of racing. The Loyola Marymount women’s rowing team competed in the WV8 and W2V8 to start the day and entered two in the WV4.
The Lions opened the day finishing less than a second behind Drexel in the WV8. Drexel posted a winning time of 6:43.1 with LMU coming in at 6:43.7. SDSU clocked in at 6:46.9.
In the W2V8, SDSU finished first with a 6:52.6, followed by Drexel (7:00.9), LMU (7:11.1), and SDSU “B” (7:27.2).
The racing schedule came to a close with the WV4. SDSU crossed first with a 7:40.9, followed by the Lions pair at 8:00.0 and 8:18.0, respectively.
