Two Bay Area Meets Ahead for LMU Track

The Lions head north for meets at Stanford and San Francisco State this Friday.

Briefly... Laura Delgado is in her second season with LMU Cross Country and Track....

At LMU... 2011-12... in cross country, started season off with a time of 25:02.2 in the 6k at Fullerton Season Opener...ran a time of 19:15.9 at Titan Invitational

At LMU... 2010-11... in track, finished 6th in 5:07.01 at the Ben Brown Invitational... had season-best time of 4:59.35 at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational... finished 9th in 5:48.74 in the mile and the Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers race...in cross country, ran four races for the Lions... had season best time in 5k at the CSU Fullerton Titan Invitational with a 18:55.5... finished 21st at the UC Riverside Invitational... in track, finished 6th in 5:07.01 at the Ben Brown Invitational... had season-best time of 4:59.35 at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational... finished 9th in 5:48.74 in the mile and the Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers race...

High School... a four year letter winner from San Pedro High School... was the 2009 LA City Section and Marine League Champion in Cross Country... led team to LA City Cross Country team title... in track, qualified in both the 1600m and 3200m California State Track Championships in 2010...

Personal.... Laura Delgado was born February 10, 1992 in Harbor City, CA... a 2010 graduate of San Pedro High School... has one younger brother, Jonah... father David Delgado ran for Cal State Stanislaus in college... a natural science major...
