At LMU... 2011-12... in cross-country, finished with a time of 27:13.2 at the Fullerton Season Opener, his only race of the season... did not compete on the track... High School... graduated from Ventura High School... ran under Coaches Tyree Cruz and Kory Anderson for 4 years and earned 6 varsity letters in cross country and track... All-CIF in track... two-time captain for cross country, three-time captain for track... 1-time All-Ventura County in cross country, 3-time All-Ventura County in track... 2-time All-Chanel League in both cross country and track... team placed 4th in CIF in cross country... won Chanel League in cross country all four years... named "Most Inspirational" in 2008... inducted in school's Hall of Fame in 2010... won Chanel League in track... Personal... Douglas Cameron Petree was born on December 22, 1992 in Ventura, CA... he has an older brother, Andrew, who runs track at Ventura College, an older sister Caitlin also at Ventura College and a younger sister Sara... is the son of Jennifer and David Petree... a political science major... chose LMU because of its small class sizes and the "personal touch." |
