Briefly... Edit Pakay will enter her second year with the cross country team after one of the most decorated seasons in LMU history...this will be her fourth year at LMU after transferring back from Florida State to play tennis...one of only a handful of athletes to play two sports at LMU.

At LMU...2001... became just the third Lion to win the WCC championship running a 17:58 5k...was the only conference runner to clock a time under 18 minutes...placed 70th at the West Regional with a 23:40.2 6k...earned September WCC cross country athlete of the month...finished third in her first collegiate race, running a 18:51 at the USD Invitational...did not finish lower than third during the regular season, including a second place finish at the Hometown Invitational with a 36:03 10k...played one season of tennis at LMU prior to transferring to Florida State...served her redshirt season in the spring of 2001 with the tennis team.

At Florida State...2000... played one year of tennis and decided to return to LMU.

High School... a 1999 graduate of Bundez Yoslef in Budapest Hungary...played tennis at the Vasas Sports Club...began playing tennis at the age of six...she ranked as high as 60th according to the ITF Junior rankings and 25th in the doubles rankings...junior victories includes a win over Anna Kournikova.

Personal... Edit Pakay was born on Sept. 21, 1980 in Budapest, Hungary...the daughter of Peter Pakay...a communications major.
