Drew Roberts is in his fourth season with the LMU cross country and track and field program.
Roberts came to LMU in July of 2005 when he started as a Resident Director in the Student Housing Office. In 2006 Roberts began working with the sprinters and jumpers on the Lion's newly formed track team. Roberts now works full time with both the Cross Country and Track programs helping the lions to their recent successes.
Roberts was a collegiate track and field student-athlete at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois where he studied exercise science. During his tenure at Millikin, Roberts earned all-conference honors eleven times and served as a team captain during his senior year. Roberts, who specialized in the high jump and the triple jump, received the Jumper of the Year distinction each of his four seasons at Millikin.
After graduating from Millikin, Roberts spent a year coaching at his alma mater and then enrolled in graduate school at the University of San Francisco. While in San Francisco he earned his M.A. in Sport Management and interned with the Pacific-10 Conference and in the athletic department at University of California, Berkeley. Roberts holds a Level I certification from USA Track and Field. Roberts and his wife Krista live in La Mirada.
