Joerger Wins 3000m, Lions Set PRs at Pomona-Pitzer Race

Junior Kevin Joerger wins the 3000-meter at the Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers Race.

Samuel Johnathan Worley was born September 11, 1993 in Boston, MA to parents Susan and Peter Worley... his mother, Susan played field hockey at Connecticut College... his father, Peter, played soccer and attended Ithaca College and Principia College... has one sister, Kelsey, who attends the Berklee College of Music... volunteered with Thousand Oaks Flyers Youth Track as an assistant coach... volunteered with various community service grant work jobs, including planting, weeding, and trash pick-up... considered UC Santa Barbara, San Diego and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before deciding to attend LMU... chose LMU because of the location, the campus, its small class sizes, its competitive running program and because Coach Guerrero values the importance of a student-athlete's education... a business major.
