Briefly... Sheree Shea is in her third season with LMU Cross Country and Track...was WCC Freshman of the Year and LMU Athletics Freshman of the Year in 2009-10...

At LMU... 2011-12... in cross country, ran one race for the Lions, coming in 9th with a time of 20:56 at the Stanford Invitational...

At LMU... 2010-11... ran a 16:55.3 at the UC Riverside Invitational to finish 4th... in track, won the Triton Invitiational (1500m - 4:31.04, personal best), Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers (3k - 9:57.19), Stanford Invitational (5k - 16:27.46, personal best), and Oxy Invitational (5k - 16:31.25)... finished 4th in the mile at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersee Heptathlon with a 4:55.65... finished 2nd at the Spring Break Invitational (3k - 9:37.96) and the Ben Brown Invitational (5k -16:45.64)... named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Team...in cross country, ran five races for the Lions... finished 3rd at the WCC Championships with a 20:48 in the 6k race... finished 14th in the NCAA West Regionals in 20:30.7, a personal best...

At LMU... 2009-10... LMU Athletics Freshman of the Year... ... in track, qualified for NCAA West Regionals in the 5k...ran a season best of 16:50 for the 5k at the Payton Jordan Cardinal Invite...in cross country, was honored as WCC Cross Country Freshman of the Year after a second place finish at WCC Championships... ran a personal best of 16:51 for the 5k at UC Riverside Invitational placing 3^rd overall... finished in the top 15 at Stanford with a personal record for the 6k in 21:06 helping the Lions to a 3^rd place team finish... received All-West Region honors with a 23^rd place finish

High School... graduate of University City High School... was a Foot Locker National Finalist for Cross Country in 2008 under Coach Jim McCarthy... received All-State honors her junior and senior year, placed fourth at the Woodward Park State Meet in 2008 with a time of 17:52 for 5000m... captain of her team... in track, was Eastern League Athlete of the Year... Division II San Diego Section 3200m champion...

Personal... Sheree Juliann Shea was born July 7, 1991 to parents Richard and Deborah Shea in San Diego, CA... she has two siblings, Shauna and Richard Jr... a sociology major...
