At LMU... 2011-12... in cross-country, ran four 8k races... recorded a second-place finish with a personal-best of 24:25.4 in the UC Riverside Invitational... came in 25th with a time of 24:36 in the Stanford Invitational... finished 34th at the WCC Championships in 26:05... on the track, ran at four meets.. finished with a season-best 4:07.63 in the 1500m at the Ben Brown Invite... finished eighth at the UCI Spring Break Invite with a time of 8:49.78 in the 3000m...

At LMU... 2010-11... ran five races for the Lions... finished 12th at WCC Championships at 25:39... ran a personal best 25:13.8 in 8k at UC Riverside Invitational... in track, finished 4th at Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers in 3000m at 8:42.93... finished 6th at Triton Invitational with a season-best 3:56.58...

At LMU... 2009-10... named LMU Freshman Athlete of the year... ran a personal best of 25:14 for the 8k at the Stanford Invitational... led the Lions at the Chile Pepper Invitational finishing the 10k race in 31:06, the fastest all-time in LMU history... turned in the highest finish ever for an LMU male at NCAA Regionals... helped LMU to a second place finish at conference placing in the top ten overall... in track, ran a 3:53 for the 1500m... set the school record for the 3k with an 8:33 at Pomona Pitzer... broke the school record and ran a personal best at Ben Brown Invitational recording a 14:33 for the Ben Brown...

High School... graduated from Petaluma High School... ran under Coach Jim Lynch helping his team to 2nd and 3rd place finishes at the CA State meet placing 8th overall with a time of 15:25 for the 5k at Woodward Park... was All-conference and All-League all four years in high school... received Athlete of the Year award... recorded times of 1:55 for the 800m and 9:01 for the 3200m in track...

Personal... Sterling Kenneth Lockert was born on May 6, 1991 in Marin, CA... he has a twin brother Devin who runs for Sacramento State, and two younger brothers, Cole and Porter... a psychology major.
