At LMU...2008-09... ran seven races for the lions...led the lions and ran a personal best for 8000m at the CSUF Titan Invitational with a time of 25:39...ran in the lions top seven at the UC Irvine Invitational in 27:38 for 8,000m and 27:35 for 8,000m at the SDSU Aztec Invitational...finished fourth for the lions at the NCAA west region running 32:40 for 10,000m and placing 123rd overall...In track, ran 4:11 for 1500m at the Oxy Distance Carnival...placed 10th overall at the Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers in the 3000m with a time of 8:57...
High School... a 2008 graduate of Brea Olinda High School in Brea, Calif... participated in soccer, cross country, and track under Coaches Steve Teal and Jeremy Mattern... Four year varsity letter winner in cross country... Captain of team his senior year... All-League all four years... Team MVP his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... State finalist in 2006... part of team that placed third in CIF finals...in track, four year varsity letter winner... Captain of his team his senior season... All-League and All-Area his junior and senior year... All-CIF his senior year... League Champion in the 1600m and 3200m in 2007 and 2008...Southern Section DIII 1600m champion his senior year... his personal bests in the 1600m and 3200m are a 4:18 and 9:31...
