On the women's side, Shea ran a season best 16:45.55 and held off runner-up Lisa Ohblerg of Cal State L.A. (16:47.31) down the stretch to clinch first place in the 5,000m. Fellow Lion Taylor Paschen turned in a career best time of 18:54.10.

The LMU men's and women's track teams return to action March 22-23 at the UC Irvine Spring Break Invitational.
