LOS ANGELES – This Saturday, Tara Erdmann will head to the indoor track at the University of Washington, as she will run the 3000m at the Flotrack Husky Classic.  The race is scheduled at approximately 4:35 p.m. at the Dempsey Indoor Track on the campus of the University of Washington.

Erdmann ran the 3000m at the Husky Classic last year finishing fourth overall with a personal-best and LMU record time of 9:18:39, which she later broke last season at the same track.  On a track with strong competitors from across the nation, Erdmann finished within seconds of the leaders.

Tara recently represented the United States at the 2012 Aviva International Match held in Glasgow, Scotland.  Erdmann finished with a time of 9:39.01 against some of the world’s best distance runners.

The Flotrack Husky Classic is a centerpiece event for the NCAA indoor track season.  The meet will be held Dempsey Indoor Track on the campus of the University of Washington.  The newly renovated track, described as the “fastest track in the country,” has seen several record-breaking performances.

The race will be streamed online at and will provide a recap after the race.
