Track and Field Takes on Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers Meet.
This is the first track meet of the year for the Lions.

After 10 weeks of preparation, LMU' s track and field team will participate in the Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers Track and Field Meet this Saturday, February 21.
The format of this meet is to not compete against other teams, but for participants to compete against themselves. Competitors are to race against the clock to prepare further for the rest of the season.
LMU will begin the meet at 11:00 a.m. in Claremont, CA. The Lions will be competing in such events as the 3000m, Mile Run, 100m, 200m, 400m, 400 hurdles, 4X4 relay, High Jump, Triple Jump, and Long Jump.
"Everyone is ready to get out there and see what kind of shape we are in. " Head Coach Scott Guerrero said. ". The team is definitely in the best shape I've ever seen this early in the season. The goal for this weekend in particular is really just to see where we are in terms of our fitness."
