Track Seeks Lowered Times at Stanford and Cal-Nevada Invitationals
Eight Lions gained entry to the Stanford Invitational while the rest of the squad will race at the Cal-Nevada Invitational.

LOS ANGELES The LMU men's and women's track teams head to a pair of meets this weekend, looking to lower individual times and chase NCAA regional qualifying marks. Eight individuals will compete at the Stanford Invitational on April 4-5 while the remainder of the squad heads to the Cal-Nevada Championships in La Jolla, Calif.
Among the eight Lions who qualified for the Stanford Invitational, held at the Cobb Track and Angell Field, are seven women and one male. Danielle Shanahan, Sheree Shea, Grace Graham-Zamudio, Kelli Sugimoto and Brittnie Munoz will all race in the 5,000m while Chloe Curtis and Lyndsey Mull will compete in the 1,500m. Weston Strum is the lone entry for the Lion men and will compete in the 5,000m.
At the Cal-Nevada Invitational, the remainder of the Lion squad will compete in the 3,000m steeplechase, 10,000m, 5,000m, and 1,500m.
