2015 USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

LOS ANGELES - A trio of individuals, along with both LMU men’s and women’s teams, are among the 2015 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division I Track & Field academic honorees.

Individual recognition went to sophomore Kayla de Bondt, senior Grace Graham-Zamudio and junior Kelli Sugimoto, as the trio each achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and participated in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field West Preliminary. A total of 838 women from 207 institutions earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for their combined academic and athletic accomplishments.

Both the Lion men’s and women’s team were also recognized for achieving a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher. LMU’s women were among 224 total honorees while the men were among 123 honored squads. The Lion women achieved a cumulative team GPA of 3.31 while the men earned a cumulative mark of 3.10.
