LMU Congratulates 85 student-athletes who graduated on Saturday.
The LMU men's and women's cross country teams closed out their fall season placing 15th and 11, respectively, at the 2013 NCAA Division I West Regional Championship at Haggin Oaks Golf Course in Sacramento.
The LMU men's and women's cross country teams did not disappoint in their final tune-up before the West Coast Conference Championships, as the squads clinched first place in both the men's and women's races at the Santa Clara Bronco Invite Saturday at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, Calif.
The LMU cross country teams will face off against a field full of regionally and nationally ranked teams across the nation Saturday at the Chile Pepper Invitational.
Senior Weston Strum led the LMU men's charge with a third place finish while Grace Graham-Zamudio was eighth overall for the women at the Stanford Invite.

In cross country, ran personal and season-best in 6k with a time of 21:24.3 at UC Riverside Invitational... started season placing 12th with a time of 23:08.4 at Fullerton Season Opener... finished sixth at SF State Distance Carnival in the the 5000m running a PR of 17:09.24... ran a PR of 10:11.48 in the 3000m at the UCI Spring Break Invite... at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite, recorded a personal-best in the 1500m in 4:41.01...
Ran six races for the Lions... finished 5th at the UC Riverside Invitational in 18:06.2 in the 5k... recorded a 21:51 at the WCC Championships for a 16th place finish...
Out of Rosemead high school... was the Mission Valley League Champion... became the first female in Rosemead High School history to qualify for the Cross Country State Championships in 2008 and then again in 2009... in track, was the Mission Valley League Champion in both the 1600m and 3200m... her junior year, Munoz was coached by LMU Cross Country alumnus Bernie Ochoa (2005)...
