Robin McRobbie is in her second season as a graduate assistant for the cross country and track programs. McRobbie is a graduate student in the School of Education, pursuing her Masters degree in Secondary Education.

McRobbie comes to the Lions from the University of Hawaii, where she ran both cross country and track for the Rainbow Wahine. On the track, she competed in the 5000m and the 3000m steeplechase. McRobbie graduated from UH in 2005 with a degree in liberal studies.

A five-year letterwinner in cross country running, cross country skiing, and track in high school in Ottawa, Canada, McRobbie began her college career at the University of Louisiana-Monroe. There, she earned all-conference honors in both the 5000m and the 10,000m before transferring to the University of Hawaii.

In 2005, McRobbie earned her Canadian NCCP Coaching Card in Run-Jump-Throw Instruction and hopes to coach high school-level cross country and track when she begins her full-time career as an educator.
