Briefly... Michael Duncan is in his first season with LMU Cross Country & Track...

High School... graduate of Crescenta Valley High School... ran cross-country and track for 4 years under coach Mark Evans... named All-Pacific League in cross-country during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons... ran the 5k in 14:57... in track, was a three-time All-Pacific League recipient... ran the 400m in 51.1 seconds, 300m in 1:56.5, and 1600m in 4:23.7... named to Dean's List (four years), four-year scholar athlete, awarded by the California Scholastic Federation and the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS)... competed against fellow freshman Ryan Vargas in high school... covered in the Glendale News Press and Crescenta Valley Weekly...

Personal... Michael John Duncan was born March 30, 1994 to parents Carolyn O'Keefe and James Duncan in Mission Viejo, CA... he has one sister, Sarah, who also attends LMU and one brother, Matthew, who also ran cross-country and track at LMU... volunteered at church and with Relay for Life... considered Gonzaga, Santa Clara and Azusa Pacific before deciding to attend LMU... chose LMU because of its excellent academics and athletics program... a business marketing major.
