The Lions are eager to begin a new season with the addition of new talent to an experienced group of returners.

High School... three-year starter in cross-country under coach Gil Garcia (missed one year due to injury)... named All-Trinity League in junior year... received scholar athlete honor (three times), Coaches' award as a senior, Hardest Worker award as a junior and Athlete of the Week (during three different years)... three-year starter in swimming under coaches Renee Blanc, Rich Blanc and Ron Blanc... Swimmer of the Meet (during three seasons)... received Most Inspirational Swimmer Award as a junior... IB Certificate candidate in Biology, English (two years), Latin and Economics... three-year honor roll student... California Scholarship Federation lifetime member... scholar athlete for cross-country and swim teams... served as a SMCHS Ambassador, Retreat Leader, and Biology tutor... member of SMCHS Pink Ribbon Club... Nicole Renee Forbes was born July 31, 1994 in Sacramento, CA to parents Kim and Thomas Forbes... her mother, Kim played softball at LMU... has one sister, Katherine, who is also attending LMU... counselor in leadership training at Camp James... volunteered with SMCHS Peer Ministry, Orange County Catholic Worker Isaiah House, Loaves & Fishes, SMCHS Swim Special Olympics... considered the University of San Diego before deciding to attend LMU... chose LMU because of its academics, scholarship offer, the fact that her sister is at LMU and Coach Guerrero... a biology major.
