SACRAMENTO - The LMU men's and women's cross country teams closed out their fall season placing 15th and 11, respectively, at the 2013 NCAA Division I West Regional Championship at Haggin Oaks Golf Course in Sacramento.

With 365 points, the Lion men placed 15th in the field of 27 scoring teams. Senior Weston Strum was once again LMU's top finisher, placing 32nd overall and racing the 10k course in a time of 30:36. Fellow senior Kevin Joerger was 55th in 31:00, Drew Dalton was 87th in 31:41, John Pickhaver was 88th in 31:42 and Michael Duncan was 103rd in 33:04.

For the women, Sheree Shea earned her third career All-West Region honor with a 13th-place finish. The fifth-year senior completed the 6k course in 19:59, helping LMU to its 11th-place team finish and 307 points. Junior Grace Graham-Zamudio placed 48th overall in her first NCAA Regional appearance, finishing in a time of 20:44. Freshman Danielle Shanahan was 55th in 20:48, Kelli Sugimoto was 71st in 20:58 and Brittnie Munoz was 120th in 21:41.
