Cross Country Prepares For The Upcoming Season in Mammoth
Lions train in mountains, play trail games, and encounter wildlife during camp

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The men's and women's cross country teams recently returned back to LMU from their annual preseason training camp in Mammoth Lakes, Calif. The camp provided a beautiful and rigorous environment as the teams prepared for their upcoming season. Watch the video above to see the men's and women's Cross Country teams in their first team work-out of the season at Shady Rest Park in Mammoth Lakes. Also, men's team captain Sterling Lockert breaks down the workout, women's team captain Sheree Shea voices her excitement about the depth on this year's team, head coach Scott Guerrero describes the team as "the best team we've ever had," and the Lions play trail games and encounter some of Mammoth's wildlife.
The Lions begin their season this Saturday, Sept. 3 at 8:30 a.m. at the Fullerton Season Opener in Brea, Calif. Continue to check back for more video from the Lions' trip to Mammoth Lakes.
