"B" Squad Takes on Cal State Fullerton Titan Invitational on Friday.

Los Angeles, Calif - While the "A" squad will be preparing for the WCC Championships on Nov. 1, LMU's cross country's "B" squad will compete this Friday at the Titan Invitational on the campus of Cal State Fullerton.

Both the 5k and 8k course will begin on the CSU Fullerton track looping around to the grassy athletic fields and finishing off on the concrete/asphalt pathways around the sports complex.

Teams participating at the Titan Invitational on the women's side include CSU Bakersfield, Long Beach State, Pepperdine, USC, Cal Coast, UC Irvine, UC Riverside and host Fullerton. Running for LMU will be Ahnie Draper, Shea Franklin, Madeline Hess-Maple, Kylie Hunsaker, Megan Lynch, Kelly McEnerney, Elizabeth Murphy and Cassandra Salazar. At the last "B" squad meet, freshman Cassandra Salazar placed in the top five for the lions finishing the 5k in 19:41.

Michael Herrera and Sean Sisk will lead the Lions on the men's side. Each finished in the top five for LMU at the Vanguard Invitational. Herrera finished 4th for the Lions with a 27:42 in the 8k while Sisk rounded out the top five with a 28:09. Also running for lions will be Jacques Delouche, Erich Yanoschik, and Oran Arms. They will be facing teams from CSU Northridge, Men of Troy, Roadrunner TC, Cal Coast, Pepperdine, UC Irvine and UC Riverside.



The invitational will begin Friday with the women`s 5k at 5p.m with men's 8k concluding the meet at 5:30p.m.
