SAN BRUNO - Six members of the LMU men's and women's cross country teams were named to the 2015 West Coast Conference Men's and Women's All-Academic Teams, the league announced Friday.

Senior Kelli Capel earned first team honors for the women while sophomores Harry Loasby and Jack Polerecky were named to the men's first team.

Capel is an English major with a cumulative 3.66 grade point average. The Preseason All-WCC selection has been one of the Lions' top runners all fall and will seek her second straight All-WCC performance at the league championship meet Saturday.

Loasby carries a 3.39 cumulative GPA as an urban studies major while Polerecky holds a 3.85 cumulative GPA as a biochemistry major.

All-Academic honorable mention honors went to junior Danielle Shanahan (3.25 GPA, psychology), junior Kayla de Bondt (3.46 GPA, political science) and senior Michael Duncan (3.27 GPA, marketing).
