This marks the second consecutive honor for the junior from Newhall, Calif., as she also earned the award in September. Additionally, the Lions have now won nine of the last 11 women's cross country honors dating back to 2010.
Graham-Zamudio followed up a pair of individual titles in September with a solid October that featured a career best 5K time, a career best 6K time, a third individual title and a course record. She finished the 5K course in a career best time of 17:38.8, helping the Lions to a second place team finish behind then nationally-ranked No. 9 Arkansas.
On October 19 at the Bronco Invitational, Graham-Zamudio clinched her third individual title of the season, winning the 6K race in a course record and personal record 20:18.1. Her finish helped the Lions win the team championship as well, their third of the year.
