Willard Lauermann
![]()
While it may be difficult to judge a tackler by statistics alone, knowledgeable observers of Bill Lauermann on the field of play were always singing his praises. At a weight of 202 pounds, Bill was the Lions Biggest tackle of the era. One of the biggest games came in 1931, when the Lions (with seven wins, two losses and a tie) defeated Drake, The Missouri Valley Conference Champ. A Four Year Letterman, he won All-Coast Honors and earned Academic Honors as well. |
