Hall of Fame:

Lynn Agnes Scott will forever go down in Loyola Marymount University Athletics history as the recipient of the first athletic scholarship ever awarded to a female athlete at LMU. A transfer from West L.A. College in 1975, Scott led the Lions to a 20-0 record during her two years of competition in a Lion uniform, capturing their first two conference championships, the first as a member of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) and the second as a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC). Scott remained with the program an assistant coach during the 1977-78 season, guiding the Lions to an 8-2 record and third consecutive conference championship (CCAC). A graduate of nearby Westchester High School, Scott began playing tennis in her sophomore year of high school. She played out of the No. 1 position at West L.A. finishing the year with a perfect 10-0 record and was named the school's most valuable female athlete.
