Sean Buckle is in his second season with LMU baseball...

AT LMU
2012... went 1-0 with a 4.91 ERA over seven appearances and one start as a freshman... tossed 11 innings and struck out eight... collegiate debut came on February 24 vs. Cal Poly... tossed four innings in his first career start, striking out three, against UC Riverside on May 22... earned his first career victory after tossing three scoreless innings at Santa Clara on May 27... opponents were just 1-for-12 (.083) against him with two outs...

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2011 graduate of Long Beach Wilson High School in Long Beach, Calif... three-year varsity letterwinner for Head Coach Andy Hall... served as a team captain as a senior en route to an All-City selection... named All-Area and All-League as a junior and senior... captured All-CIF honors in his final campaign while also being named Team MVP... hit .368 with 18 runs scored, three doubles, two triples, two home runs and 16 RBI as a senior... posted a 2.07 ERA over 27 innings on the hill in his final year... helped the Wilson American Legion to the Area 4 and State Championships the summer after his junior year, batting .438 and posting a 4-0 record on the mound to help his team to the Western Regional Tournament... punched-out a career-best 13 in a complete-game shutout in that tournament...
