2009... appeared in 15 games for the Lions, all in relief... recorded a 2-1 record and a 6.75 ERA over 22.2 innings of work... struck out 28 hitters and walked 12... in WCC games alone, managed a 3.38 ERA in three appearances and 5.1 innings on the hill... walked just one batter in conference play while punching-out seven... held conference hitters to just a .211 batting average... held opponents to a .259 average against with the bases empty... had back-to-back strong outings on March 24 and 31, tossing a season-best 3.1 innings and recording a season-high four strikeouts in each game against Cal State Northridge and UC Irvine... also struck out four hitters against Utah in his first appearance of the season on February 21... earned victories in consecutive appearances, first over Fresno State on March 22 and then over Cal State Northridge on March 24... allowed just a .240 batting average with runners in scoring position... held right-handed WCC hitters to just a .188 batting average... conference foes were just 2-for-14 (.143) with the bases empty...
