Cassidy Brown is in his third season with LMU baseball... was named starting catcher for the East All-Stars in the 2015 Cape Cod League All-Star Game... hit .277 with four doubles and three homers playing for Brewster in the Cape Cod League...

2015... played in 47 games, starting 42 as a sophomore... scored nine runs and drove in 10... drew 11 walks with nine hit-by-pitches... stole four bases in five attempts... finished the year hitting .138... picked off four baserunners and was charged with just one passed ball... eight of his nine runs scored came in WCC play... drove in five runs against WCC foes... three of his 10 RBI came with two out... collected a pair of hits at UC Riverside on 2/24... first RBI of the season came against #13 UCSB on 3/24... hit safely in all three games against Gonzaga, including going 2-for-3 with two runs scored on 3/29... went 2-for-4 with a run scored and three RBI against San Diego in the WCC Championship Tournament on 5/21...

2014... hit .200 over 25 starts as a freshman... collected eight runs scored, three doubles and three RBI... recorded first career hit and RBI on February 15 against Utah Valley... two hits and a stolen base at UC Irvine on 2/25... went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI against San Diego State on April 29... managed three multi-hit games... reached base safely in 11 straight games from March 8 to April 22... was 5-for-15 (.333) with two RBI when hitting with runners on and two out...

A 2013 graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio... a four-year varsity letterwinner... served as team captain as a junior and senior... named the 2013 Player of the Year in the state of Ohio according to Max Preps... selected to the Team USA Tournament of Stars and first team All-State in 2012... 2011 and 2012 Rawlings Preseason USA All-American... named All-City, All-Area and All-Conference in each of his final three seasons... top-500 prospect according to Perfect Game and a top-100 high school prospect according to MaxPreps... Max Preps Top-50 players for the class of 2013... hit .429 with 24 doubles, five home runs and a 1.068 OPS as a senior...

Cassidy Gorman Brown was born July 21, 1994 in Columbus, Ohio... son of Suzanne and Scott Brown... has two sisters, Claire and Audrey... father played football at Baldwin Wallace College, while his mother competed in tennis at Endicott College... also considered Kent State University, Michigan, Elon, and Ole Miss, but chose LMU because of the academics, the willingness of the coaches to help him be the best he can be, and the Los Angeles area has always been a dream for him... a business marketing major.
