WHIP for the month was a measly 0.80, while he also combined on two shutouts... walked the leadoff man in the fourth inning against USF on April 14, snapping a string of 38.2 straight innings without a walk... posted a victory over Portland on April 20... got a no decison after tossing 6.2 innings and allowing two runs to accompany six strikeouts at Long Beach State on May 5... managed a season-best seven strikeouts over five innings against Pepperdine on May 18... earned a victory over Santa Clara on May 25 after tossing six innings... allowed just a .255 batting average from left-handed hitters...
